Our 2010 appointment from God is
“It’s time to Cross Over Jordan.” (Joshua 1:1-6)
Crossing the Jordan represents a major transition for God’s people after being disciplined for forty long years in the wilderness: they have finally come to the holy place. It is more than a geographical move; it is a transition from Moses to Joshua and a transition from the wilderness to the Promised Land:
A New Dispensation for Israel. God had rescued his covenanted people from slavery in Egypt. It demonstrated that God is well able to perform whatever he promises. In effect, God is saying to them,
“leave the past behind, we’re going into new territory. It’s going to be a place of great opposition, a place of enemies, a place of challenges and a place of war. But it is also going to be a place of great victory and great blessings.”
I believe this is the type of transition God has placed before the Word of Faith Church; it is something great. The Jordan represents the hindrances that are between us and His promises. I believe that right now the Church is poised in a strategic place, standing in a holy moment, and I believe God is thundering His Glory, Anointing and continual Presence over the Church in the United States during this hour. “It’s time to Cross the Jordan.”
